Die Supergroup PROPHETS OF RAGE, die aus Mitgliedern von RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, PUBLIC ENEMY und CYPRESS HILL besteht, hat einen Song mit dem Namen „Prophets Of Rage“ veröffentlicht.
Bisher sind noch keine Details zu einem Album bekanntgegeben worden, was laut Gitarrist Tom Morello auch daran liegt, dass die Band sich über ihre musikalische Zukunft noch nicht ganz im Klaren ist:
„When we got in the room, it was like, ‚Well, hold on, we’re getting ahead of ourselves. We have to figure out what this band’s chemistry is to be great. How do we win with this team on the field?‘. And that took awhile to figure out. I would say that it really came together a couple days before the Whisky show, where it was like, ‚Oh, shit, that’s what PROPHETS OF RAGE is going to sound like!‘ And it’s still a process. I always look at it like it’s never done and will continue to be refined as we go along.“
