Korpiklaani-Vodka bekommt einen Preis

KORPIKLAANI können nicht nur über Vodka singen, sondern haben offenbar auch mit ihrer eigenen Band-Spirituose Geschnack bewiesen: Jüngst hat das Getränk die Auszeichnung „Weltweit bester Wodka“  bei den „World Vodka Awards 21“ in der Kategorie „Infused & Botanical“ erhalten. Bei der Destillation, für die die Pyynikin Distilling Company verantwortlich zeichnet, verliehen Fichtenzweige dem Getrank ein Wald-Aroma. Basist Jarkko kommentiert auf Facebook:

„We had several sessions with Samuli the Distiller where we went through many different versions of the vodka. The correct amount of spruce was crucial in getting the flavour exactly right and even tiny changes made a huge difference in the final product. We’re very happy to see that the jury appreciated the same things and actually understood the amount of love and care that went into making this vodka.“
