Circle Takes The Square nehmen wieder auf

Die US-amerikanische Hardcore-Formation Circle Takes The Square hat sich zum ersten Mal in sieben Jahren wieder im Studio eingefunden. Die Musiker nehmen derzeit ihr neues Werk „Decompositions, Vol. 1“ auf. Von der EP „Rites of Initiation“ ist nun der erste Track im Netz vorab aufgetaucht. „Rites of Initiation“ wird einer von drei Teilen von „Decompositions, Vol. 1“ sein. Hier könnt ihr reinhören:

Sänger Drew Speziale kommentiert das neue Material wie folgt: „“Way of Ever-Branching Paths“ has the most labyrinthine structure of the songs on Rites of Initiation, and the lyrics were largely inspired by all those twists and turns. We realized about halfway through writing it that we were building a maze of notes and riffs. We wanted to add another dimension to that hallway of mirrors by referencing the creative and emotional challenges that arose throughout the process of completing our record.“

Während „Decompositions, Vol. 1“ nicht vor November erscheinen soll, planen Circle Takes The Square die Veröffentlichung von „Rites Of Initiation“ bereits für den 23. August 2011.
