Eïs gehen getennte Wege, bleiben aber aktiv

Auf ihrer Facebook-Seite haben die deutschen Black Metaller EÏS bekannt gegeben, dass sie sich bereits letzte Woche dazu entschieden haben, getrennte Wege zu gehen. Über die Gründe der Trennung möchten sie nichts sagen, da diese privat sind. Die derzeit gebuchten Konzerte auf dem Ragnarök und Gahlen Moscht scheinen von dem Split nicht betroffen zu sein. Mit welchem Lineup Alboins EÏS dort dann auftreten werden, ist noch nicht bekannt.

„Friends and fiends!

To put it in a nutshell: EIS in its last known apparition fell apart. I’ve decided to part ways with all band members last week. Thus, the Barcelona gig – posthumously so-to-say – appears to have been the farewell show with Marlek, Abarus, S.atyrus.S and Wylk.

Well, the reasons. Please understand that these are private, and this is public. Something that regularly comes to my mind while digesting this break up is: Humans develop steadily, not always to their advantages though, and keeping bands together sometimes is harder than performing a healthy and lucky marriage, or even just a relationship. No matter how hard you fight for it, there’s no guarantee for any success. And then… well, it’s time to make changes.
