Mental Cruelty auf der Suche nach neuem Sänger

Die Deathcore-Band MENTAL CRUELTY ist via Social Media auf der Suche nach einem neuen Sänger. Auf Facebook posteten die Karlsruher dazu folgendes Statement:

WE WANT YOU

In the last three months we’ve received tons of messages, videos and audio clips from many of you showing us your vocals in order to apply to be our vocalist. We were absolutely blown away by how talented you all are and we want to say a big thank you to everyone who has messaged us so far. We really want to give everyone a chance so that’s why we make it official now. We decided to do an open audition and we want YOU!

If you think you got what it takes, you are confident and willing to put as much effort, time and work into this band as we do, you can now apply. All you need to do is to record a video of you performing our song KING OV FIRE. It don’t need to be an exact copy or an one-on-one take. Show us your vocals, your unique sound and your creativity.

Im März hatte sich die Band von ihrem bisherigen Sänger Lucca Schmerler getrennt, nachdem gegen ihn in den sozialen Medien anonyme Vorwürfe bezüglich sexueller Übergriffe aufgekommen waren. Schmerler selbst hatte in einem Statement jede Schuld bestritten, jedoch angekündigt, sich vorerst aus den sozialen Netzwerken zurückzuziehen:

„Due to threats of violence against my family, friends and myself, i will withdraw from public life until further notice. Investigations against the People involved were initiated à few weeks ago and i distant myself from all allegation made against me“
